Rayer Flora has a farm spread over 20 acres land that houses 4 hectares of Green houses growing Roses. To accomplish our vision of “Growing high quality Roses”, we employ contemporary technologies and best practices, managed by well educated and experienced professionals.

Our farm is located in Agricultural Export Zone (AEZ) at Hosur, Tamilnadu, India located about 32 KM from Bangalore Airport. Geographically, Hosur is about 1000mt from sea level and temperature varying from 10OC to 32OC well suited for growing quality roses.

Our farm grows roses under climate controlled green houses equipped with state-of-art drip and mist irrigation system from Israel. Our green houses are managed by dedicated and experienced personnel, supervised by industry pro having Doctoral degree (Ph.D) in Horticulture from one of the leading and reputable Indian universities. Other than roses, Rayer Flora also grows Gerbera, Gladiolus, Tuberose, Anthurium and Helliconia.

Grading and Sorting

Once harvested from our green houses, the roses are sent to our cold storage for pre-cooing. Our experienced, well trained staff grade these roses and all ‘A’ grade roses are bunched in 20s, cut to international standards before storing into our cold storage.

Cold storage and Cold chain

two cold rooms which can store more about 600,000 roses. From harvest, the flowers are processed and stored at our computerized cold room facility with absolute control over temperature and humidity. The flowers are stored at 2 degree Celsius all the time. The cold room at our farm is designed with 100% backup generator that guarantees 24x7 operations to maintain freshness of the roses. Our flowers are delivered through well established cold chain right from harvest at the farm to the nearest international airport at Bangalore (about 32KM from farm).

Export Standards and shipment

After harvest, our flowers are 100% inspected, processed ad packaged in a standard that meets international guidelines. The stems are 1/3 de-leafed by standard and for Russian markets the flowers are shipped without de-leafing. Most of the flowers are packed in bunches of 20 stems with outer later 5-7 cm more than the size indicated (eg., 60cm will be 60 to 65 cm min).

For shipping flowers are packed in 20cm x 40cm x 100 cm Standard 5play corrugated boxes as per international standard. Each box would contain 360 to 400 stems based on the stem length.

All our shipments are accompanied by relevant shipment document and phyto-certificates from competent authorities. To counties with import restriction we send appropriate certificate of origin as well.
